Since the beginning of the New Year, Björn Sellschopp has been a member of management at the Munich-based software manufacturer Can Do. Together with Thomas Schlereth, he now makes up the management of the project management software developer. In particular, he will bring his long-standing know-how into the fields of project management and process optimization. “I am pleased that in Björn Sellschopp, we have been able to acquire a very experienced and recognized project management expert for our company, someone who has already lead a number of successful roll-out and implementation projects”, Thomas Schlereth stresses.

Björn Sellschopp has been active in various capacities in the industry for a good 20 years, more than half of these as a project leader. This includes heading a standardization and modularization project in turbine and plant construction, software implementation projects (e.g. SAP/R3) and an equipment project in shipbuilding. In his capacity as line manager, he has led the operational planning and management at a shipyard and the project management department of a plant construction firm. From 2006, Björn Sellschopp worked for a consulting firm, where he was active as an adviser to various companies. He assisted them with, among other things, project management and questions regarding organisation, processes and restructuring. As interim manager, he also took over responsibility for various companies. In 2009 he became part of the management team.

Björn Sellschopp will begin at Can Do GmbH immediately, as manager in the fields of Implementation & Consulting, which include the roll-out of the project management software Can Do project intelligence as well as the optimization of the processes frequently connected with this and the organizational structure of the client. “The introduction of professional project management software is a welcome opportunity for companies to improve their internal processes and organisational structure”, Björn Sellschopp explains. “Our software offers a great advantage for companies in various fields, for example in resource planning, coordination processes between project and line or the management of project portfolios. We are now in a position to support our clients even better, in realising their optimization potential”, he explains.
