Can Do presents a new version of its Software at the PM Forum 2013

PM Forum 2013 under the motto “New Dimensions. New Opportunities. Advances through Project Management”

  • Project management software with additional functions for line planning and resource management

Can Do will present the latest version of its project management software at the 30th International Project Management Forum in October 2013. In Version 4.5, Can Do continues the integration of line organisation into their project management software, and will introduce the versatile planning functions specially designed for area heads and department leaders. This tool enables line managers to comfortably plan all the activities that take place within the line – from technical tasks to holiday plans, to basic tasks and maintenance, to internal departmental projects. Over and above this, the inclusion of the line organisation in the project management software enables comprehensive, holistic resource management that takes the workloads of employees and departments, for both line-work and projects, into account. Can Do’s project management software thereby enables optimal allocation of resources.

The PM Forum 2013 takes place in Nurnberg on 29 & 30 October. In 50 practice-oriented lectures, the dimensions and opportunities that project management offers will be demonstrated and the advantages that they bring with them will be illustrated. The speakers come from companies such as Alcatel-Lucent, Volkswagen, ProSiebenSat.1 Media, Continental, ThyssenKrupp, Lufthansa, KPMG and FC Schalke 04. One of the keynote speakers will be Art Thompson who, as technical director of the Red Bull Stratos Project, was responsible for the success of Felix Baumgartner’s jump from the stratosphere.

The PMO day will take place for the third time on 28 October – the day before the PM Forum. The focus of the PMO event this year will be the topics of PMO as seen by the decision-maker, PMO from the implementation point of view and PMO from an international point of view.

As an exhibitor, Can Do will be on site to introduce the new release of their project management software, which has additional functions for the areas of resource management. Besides the PM tool, Can Do also offers consulting services and interim management for implementation, process optimisation and project management.
