Portfolio- and demand management
The capacity analysis function shows you your team members' current workloads at a glance - listed by project, department or resource. You can also simulate future capacity utilization.
A variety of analysis methods show you in real time who is available when and to what extent. You can also check the availability of the exact people whose skills you need. This transparency also lets you assess whether new projects are feasible, and if not, the prerequisites that must be met to make them feasible. As well as identifying which skills are particularly in demand, you can also see which ones you'll require in the future.
The "Manage Demands" function gives you a central place to log your project requests. You can even simulate project requests here to check their feasibility.
Once you have requested your project, you can assign it to a portfolio and save project descriptions, specific information and documents with it. The completeness bar shows you whether your request contains all the relevant information. Your demand is displayed automatically in the project planner (GANTT) and you can add resource and other plan details there and simulate the project. That way, you'll know immediately whether and when your project would be feasible. And you can always check the progress of your project's evaluation from the switch graphic.
The "Approve project suggestions" function provides you with key information like effort, risk and costs so that you can approve feasible projects faster.
The system intelligently automates major routines and identifies all the relevant parameters to help you assess feasibility. If you have a multi-phase approval process, each of the managers' names is stored so that the approval process can move from one phase to the next automatically. That saves you valuable time and your staff can start their projects straight away.
With the "My department's projects" function, you see at a glance
which projects have been approved or will be in the future -
and to what extent they involve your staff.
You can choose the time period you want and see the progress
of each project as a percentage. In addition, the function also shows you possible risks and how likely they are to occur. This helps you make quick decisions about current projects and plan resources more accurately
for future projects.
The "Manage portfolio" app enables you to build your personal project portfolio. Along with current and future projects, you can also include project simulations with an indication of the likelihood that the project occurs.
The year plan provides you with all the key figures so that you can make a strategic plan for the whole fiscal year for your company's projects, capacity, budgets and resources.
The "Manage Demands" app enables you to make project requests and check that they contain all the necessary information. The fields to be filled in are entirely configurable. The app also comprises a workflow to guide the approval process.
